Zovo Gift List

A wishlist page friends can claim gifts from, without spoiling the surprise.

Zovo Gift List turns a birthday, holiday or baby shower wishlist into a page you share with friends and family. They see what is still available and press "I will get this", so two people do not buy the same gift. Claims are hidden from you by default, so the surprise stays. Items can have a note, a price range, a store name and a quantity.

What it does

• One shared page for friends and family, with a private owner page
• "I will get this" claims that count against each item's quantity, so the last one cannot be claimed twice
• Claims hidden from the list owner by default, or shown if the owner prefers
• Friends can change or cancel their own claim with a private edit link while the list is open
• Add or remove items, change quantities and close the list from the chat
• CSV export of the list (and of claims, when the owner chose to see them)

Limitations

• Links are not allowed in items; name the store instead
• Up to 80 items and 400 claims per list; pages stay open until 21 days after the occasion, at least 30 days and at most 365 days from when the list is made
• It does not buy, track or deliver anything, and it does not send messages
• If the owner opens the shared link, they can see which items are taken
